Christmas Fair

On Sunday 11th December from 12noon to 5pm we are hosting our very first Christmas Fair which will be a celebration of everything that the local area has to offer at Christmas time.  With complimentary canapés and mulled wine, Santa’s grotto for the kids and a chance to purchase some last minute Christmas gifts, it will be a day to remember!  There is also an opportunity to get some cookery tips as our head chef Robert Read will be conducting a Christmas cookery demonstration at 1pm.  The demo will be free of charge and a great chance to see how Christmas is done in a professional kitchen!  Local businesses and crafts people such as Irene Woods’ paintings, Pearl beauty, Gingerlily Pearls, Workshop Toys, Carlingford Drift, TnB Trading, Mary Brennan Jewellery, Heavenly Cakes, Candyford and McArdles Boutique will be on hand throughout the day to purchase last-minute gifts and sample their products as well as Ghan House itself offering homemade jams, chutneys and breads.  There is also wine-tasting with Owen from Wines Direct and whiskey from the Cooley Distillery.
