Just
over an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast airports, it is recommended
as one of the "Best 100 places to stay in Ireland " every year since

Ghan
House is a tree length away from the Medieval Heritage town of Carlingford
which was raided by the Vikings in the 8th and 9th centuries and then
the Normans in the 12th century.

of this past remain - castles, fortified town houses, Mint, Thosel and
Dominican Friary.
