Cookery, mythological trip, Georgian Banquet, wine tasting and new – 3rd Monday of every month – Ladies night!.

We bring in 4 guest chefs for our cookery courses – Artisian baker Paul Merry, the effervescent Italian Ursula Ferrigno, the wonderful Paula McIntyre and Karyn Booth as well as our head chef and AA Rostte awarded Rob Read.

In addition to the programme of events we can tailor cookery or a winetasting course for your own private group – whether it be a corporate get-together or hen!



Friday 21st October 2011 Wine-tasting

6 wines to taste & 2 course dinner! 7.30pm €35.

 

Saturday 22nd October 2011 Halloween Treats!

12noon – 3.30pm €85 for one adult & one child, includes late lunch. Hands on cookery class with guest chef Karyn Booth. Karyn will show you how to make some exciting and delicious treats that are just a little bit scary! Children welcome to take home some treats.

 

Sunday 30th October Cost-effective & creative dinners,

12 noon to 3pm, €65, including lunch. Hands on cookery with our Head chef.  Learn how to make delicious, cost-effective & creative dinners, and get the most out of your weekly grocery shop!

ITALIAN FORTNIGHT!

Wednesday 2nd November.  Winegrower & 5 course dinner

7.30/8pm.  €60 for dinner with wines. Georgetta from Rocca delle Marcie, Italy willl talk about her wines matched to a 5 course dinner.

 

Friday 4th November 2011 Italian Wine Tasting. 6.30pm – 8pm  €35.

 

Sunday 13th November 2011  Simply Italian!

12noon – 4pm €135, includes Italian lunch. ‘Hands-on’ cookery with guest chef Ursula Ferrigno. Ursula returns to share her passion & knowledge of Italian food. Early booking recommended – she’s very popular!__________________________________________________________________________________

Monday 21st November 2011. Ladies night!

7.30 for 8pm. €35 including wine. Let our AA Rosette head chef cook you & your friends delicious 6 course dinner! Our wine expert Owen will also give some to tips on tasting wine.

 

Monday 21st & Tuesday 22nd November 2011 Breadbaking

10am to 5pm both days inc lunch. €285. Artisian baker Paul Merry returns for 2 days of ‘hands-on’ breadbaking. A real treat!

 

Sunday 27th November Christmas Sweet Treat.

12noon – 3.30pm  €105, includes lunch. Hands on cookery class with guest chef Karyn Booth. Join Karyn in making edible gifts for friends and family – Pecan brittle, Baileys fudge, cranberry sauce, mini puddings and cookies – all wrapped up for the perfect Christmas gift for those with a sweet tooth!

 

Friday 9th December 2011 Wine Tasting.

6.30pm-8pm  €35. Heavy reds – tasting by the fireplace.

Paula’s Christmas Cookery Demonstration

12noon – 2.30pm €65 includes buffet lunch (€30 lunch only) Get into the festive spirit – Guest chef Paula McIntyre will give a Cookery Demonstration of how to impress your family and friends this Christmas.

Sunday 11th December

Christmas festivities at Ghan House.

12 noon to 5pm From cookery to wine & whiskey tasting, jewellery, hand crafted lamps – a kaleidoscope of free demonstrations & great gift ideas & vouchers for Christmas!
